Batista Appears at No Way Out
{mosmedia}Tony Chimel introduced "Tonight’s special guest" and Batista, wearing a suit, came out to a huge ovation. Batista got on the mic, and said it was the "thrill of a life" every time he walked out the curtain. Batista said he was there for three reasons. One, he wanted to see Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker. Two, he missed the Smackdown audience, saying it was hard to watch Smackdown on TV every week and hear the roar of the crowd.
The fans
chanted his name. Third, was that his "torn tricep ain’t torn
anymore". Batista said that "sooner rather than later" he would be
back. Batista said it doesn’t matter who the World Champion is when he
comes back, as he stated that he "will reclaim MY world title".
Backstage,
Kurt Angle was watching Batista on a monitor. Randy Orton walked in,
and said he would be World Champion when Batista returns from his
injury.
Post show reports say that Batista looked
understandably thinner but still carried himself as a champion. His
emotion at being back in the ring was obvious, viewers said.
