Live from Louisville KY! I once went to an OVW show in KY, good times.

Randy Orton comes out to start the show, not such good times. Gonna focus and try to pay attention….gah but it so hard, he’s like a bad highschool actor when he talks. Okay.. Orton is working through his Ric Flair issues. Flair always liked Dave better than me, Flair always resented how much better than HHH I was. I kicked them all in the head! That’s right, Randy, get it all out.

Oh thank God, Ric Flair has come out! Flair calls Orton on his cheap DQ at the ppv last night then schools him on Evolution history and how Batista blew by Orton to become “The Man”.

….So…Batista’s dad (Flair) is taking on the schoolyard bully for him? No like. Actually, no like that Flair is even back, why did he RETIRE? Like, maybe he should have just taken a sabbatical instead of letting everybody give him a teary eyed sendoff last year. Oh no, Dad talked to the principal (Vickie) and set up Orton vs Batista in a steel cage for the Extreme Rules ppv next month.

Orton punches. legacy attacks. Batista makes the save….Cena makes the save save. Good guys hug in the ring. Bad guys skulk at the top of the ramp.

Really?

No, seriously… Cena+Batista+Flair   Wasn’t Batista in a blood fued w/Cena last summer. Wasn’t Evolution Batista a cool calm cucumber who could handle himself against the machinations of HHH and Flair…but now can’t handle Orton and his whelps? *riots*

Shaking it off….. Cena and Vickie backstage bit then the girls. Rock on Marsye for correcting Cole’s hoooorible pronuciation of her name. He’s been calling her “Maurice” since the Smackdown days.

Main event graphic Cena/Batista vs Legacy. I noticed last week they finally got rid of the all smiling Batista promo bit. Now he’s a moving smiling goof but a serious still animal.

Ahhh… Santino is out this week and he is boyishly cute for his match against Chavo. Santino wins. Chavo’s hair looks nice.

Marsye and Miz backstage heel flirting! Then Vickie and Chavo, interrupted by an angry Orton. It’s a bad acting spectacular.

The Brian Kendrick~! and Goldust! vs the Colins. TBK lost because Goldust was inept, grrrr…. I love this, hopefully this is the start of TBK trying out partners in hopes of finding THE perfect partner.

Miz as Cena, complete with the old Cena music -marks- I liked that old theme! So I don’t get why Cena hasn’t come out yet, he’s not injured anymore. Oh, now Lawler is in the ring. Poor Miz. King gives a lesson in calling people out, Big Show comes out, puts a submission hold on King. JR comes to the announce chair from thin air. Now Hardy vs MVP but I’m going to take a break to read the new WWE Magazine.

Flair and Batista backstage. Flair doesn’t think Batista believes in him so Flair won’t come to ringside tonight. Not really doing this justice in my writeup but this was hands down the best part of the show, just Batista and his mentor and Batista trying to hold back saying what he might really feel -“Ric, man, you left on a high, why would you come back? You don’t need to come back.” This reminded me of the best from the Evolution era.

The match itself was like all the other variations on this match I’ve seen since before ‘Mania.  Cena ended up getting distracted by Big Show and left the ring but Batista hit a spear on Orton and got the win. Afterwards he and Flair DANCED~~!
