Membership Upgrades
Registered and logged in members will now notice that you have the ability to contribute content to BatistaWeb.com.
Using the new menu options you can now submit news, fan experiences, interviews or articles directly to the website!
How it works
The actual upgrade process will be happening over the course of this week. If, by next Friday you haven’t been upgraded, and you’re a registered site member, just shoot me an email at upgrade @ batistaweb.com and I’ll get you set up.
From the main navigation screen you should see five new links:
Your Details -A basic author profile page where you can update your info and select which HTML editor you’d prefer to use. You don’t really have to change anything here.
Submit News -An interface for submitting items to the main page.
Submit Weblink -An interface to submit web page links.
Check-In My Items – Everytime you create or edit an item you’ve submitted, you ‘check it out’ which means no one else can publish or edit your items at that time. This Check-in link just allows you to the site Editors you’re done working on your submitted item and it can now be published.
Logout -logs you out of the site.
How to Submit Content other than News or Weblinks
Have you written a new biography for Batista or found an interview we don’t have listed yet? You can submit those those to the site by clicking on the appropriate link for the section you want to add to. At the bottom of that page you’ll see a link called "New…" Clicking on that will bring up the submission interface for that section.
