Raw Is Batista
It’s official, Batista has been drafted to Monday night Raw. The news came as a shock in the aftermath of a bout between Edge and John Cena. Batista interrupted after the match to get a piece of the Rated R Superstar and during the melee, it was revealed that Raw’s latest draft pick was none other than Batista. Pics are available at WWE.com As of now, the scheduled "Night of Champions match for the title is still on between Edge and Batista.
Watch Batista this week on VH1’s I Love the New Millennium this week. The Animal will be a celebrity commentator on the special, eight-part mini-series. WWE Post-Draft Press Conference Notes- Batista had stiches on his head from the bump last night. The only real question he was asked was about his interest in MMA. He said he’s been to several UFCs and he and Tim Sylvia have been friends since before he got in to wrestling. He said he’s a huge MMA fan and is friends with a lot of fighters.
