Ten Sports brings WWE”s Batista to India
This
piece of news is bound to excite World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)
fans. The wrestling superstar Dave Batista is coming to Mumbai, all 6
feet 6 inches and 290 pounds of him, thanks to Ten Sports.
Apart
from meeting his fans, Batista will also meet children from Doorstep
School, a local NGO, to encourage them in their chosen path in life.

A
few months ago The Great Khali was here. Now, Batista is set to rock
Mumbai in a week. In his two-day visit to the city, Batista has
meetings planned with fans and also children from Doorstep School, a
local NGO, to encourage them in their chosen path in life.
Batista
debuted in WWE in May 2002 and went on to win the 2005 Royal Rumble
where he earned the right to Main Event at WrestleMania XXI. It was at
this event that Batista won his first World Heavyweight Championship.
His chiseled body and explosive temper makes him dominate the ring. The
wrestler, who has a Greek and Filipino lineage, has a huge fan base
around the globe.
Batista has been ‘The Animal’ since childhood, in
temper. Raised in southeast Washington, D.C., he has described himself
as being a skinny kid with a penchant for getting into trouble with
authorities. Along with training and competing as a bodybuilder,
Batista also worked as a bouncer in clubs.
Meanwhile, the big man is
looking forward to his trip to India in a week’s time. "I’m thrilled
about this visit, having heard about India from my peers who have
visited the country. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and
experiencing the warmth and charm of India," he said.
