Back in June of this year Figure4Weekly reported that Batista would be taking time off this summer… then half the roster got injured and no more was heard of the time off until now. The latest rumour is that Batista is looking to retire. Rumours are worth about as much as the pixels they’re displayed on…

May 16 2005 – Batista saves Ric Flair from a heinous Christian-Tomko beatdown because he respects his mentor. 

May 23 2005 – Backstage Batista and Flair have a man to man talk. Main event title match is Batista (with Flair) vs Edge (with Lita, Christian and Tomko) … and Triple H returns.
